Privacy
This page explains the information ShiftEdge Metrics collects during the beta and how it is used.
Information collected
- Site usage analytics: ShiftEdge uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and product usage. Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the site tag.
- Mailing list: if you choose to join, ShiftEdge stores the email address you submit along with the source page and basic browser/user-agent information.
- Beta feedback: if you submit feedback, ShiftEdge stores the feedback type and message, the page URL where it was submitted, and basic browser/user-agent information.
- Operational data: hosting and application systems may process technical request and error information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
How information is used
Information is used to operate and improve ShiftEdge, diagnose errors, understand beta usage, respond to feedback, protect the service, and send occasional ShiftEdge updates to people who voluntarily join the mailing list.
Service providers
ShiftEdge relies on service providers, including Railway for hosting/infrastructure and Google Analytics for usage analytics. Those providers may process information as needed to provide their services.
Your choices
You do not need to join the mailing list or submit beta feedback to use the public prediction pages. Browser controls may also limit analytics cookies or storage. For a privacy question, mailing-list removal request, or data deletion request, use the site's Report an issue / Beta feedback form and identify the email address or submission involved.
Retention and changes
Beta information is retained as reasonably needed to operate and improve ShiftEdge, meet legal obligations, and resolve issues. This notice may be updated as the beta and its data practices change.
